This is About Teenage Boys
My boys are great about putting the dishes away.
They've been doing this for most of their life.
It's pretty easy: when the dishwasher is clean,
or dishes in the sink are dry (for the no-dishwasher houses) the boys rotate top and bottom and put them away.
OK, so this has been going on for YEARS! Dishes getting put away each time in their proper spot.
Not anymore.
I have been missing my small white cutting board for over a week now?
No one seems to know where it is or can remember where they put it away? Spatulas and baking dishes are the most misplaced items.
I'm convinced it's the teenage brain and the effect of hormones on it.
For those of you with little ones you're time is coming, hold on- it's a ride;
but, let me tell you a secret,
having teenagers is fun!
Well off to make some granola- yummy.

It's Been 2 Days So...
... here we go...
OK, so why does it seem like we have 804 things going on all the time?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not feeling stressed, that week has passed this month already- hehe, but really I'm not stressed just a little perplexed when looking at my calendar this last week.
It's been crazy.
Mainly because of this this piece of information...
This year our middle schoolers are going to be on a local summer mission trip...
which means... someone here on our end has to line up and plan the service projects.
That person would be... you guessed it - ME!
So my week has been crazy, busy, fun and frustrating getting that together as well as preparing my house for me to be gone and then the regular mom/wife/daughter duties.
Luckily I can come home or just escape to my bedroom and see these little jewels.
Baby kittens!!!
Who isn't filled with instant joy when they see a baby anything?!
OK some of you need not answer that, but for me I love little babies- especially kittens.
Here's a shot of 3 of the 4 living in my closet.
This one has pretty coloring but he always looks scared.
Now on to outside things around here....
There's nothing like a fresh bud growing, and for those of you whose mind went to a gutter I am talking about a flower bud like this one. Although... *smile*

When growing tomatoes red is always a fun color!
I ask myself why I have cherry tomatoes again- I gotta plant some big ones!!! But don't these look juicey and yummy?!
